Richard Long was the 26th artist to create a work for the Billboard for Edinburgh project. Through his unique approach to making work, Long has redefined arts relationship with the landscape. His Billboard for Edinburgh installation was a text and image work that has developed from an six day walk Long made in the Hoggar mountain range in the central Sahara, southern Algeria in 1988.
Richard Long's billboard was on display from November 2014 to February 2015. As part of the project, Richard Long created a new limited edition print which is available to purchase from Ingleby Gallery priced £500 + vat. More details will be published online shortly.
