The selection mixed gallery artists with invited guests in an eclectic display of pure and simple quality: an exhibition that sought to prove world-class contemporary art needn't cost the earth. The selection had no themes or agendas or curatorial cleverness, just an enthusiasm for art that is the best of its kind.
