John McLean lives and works in London, though his roots have remained north of the border. He is a lyrical artist; an abstract painter with a genuinely international perspective, yet something about the rhythm of his work remains tied to the east coast of Scotland. This exhibition will present small works on paper spanning McLean's career over the last 30 years.
