Tarka Kings studied at the Royal Academy Schools in London in the 1980s and now divides her time between London and Angus. Her measured, low toned paintings of both town and country have an almost incidental nature recalling something of Morandi or Gwen John, yet with a toughter, and distinctly contemporary edge. She has shown regularly in London since graduating in 1987. This is her first show in Scotland.
