Tate and The British Art Network (BAN) present a series of events through April on the subject of art and curating in the context of health, wellbeing and inclusivity.
The session on 22 April 2021 will explore art and wellbeing in hospital and NHS contexts. Catsou Roberts invites a panel of healthcare and arts specialists, including artist Peter Liversidge, to talk about issues involved in delivering an ambitious art programme within clinical environments. Speakers will discuss the motivations for hospitals acquiring and displaying historic art collections as well as commissioning, curating and building collections of contemporary work.
