Katie Paterson will present The Moment, 2022, as part of ArtScience Museum's forthcoming exhibition, Mars: The Red Mirror. Presented previously at the CCCB in Barcelona in 2021, it has now been expanded for ArtScience Museum to include Paterson's work, described as 'a time-piece filled with star dust'. The exhibition explores the intersection between art, science, technology and culture, and begins with a timeline of events that took place from the Big Bang until the formation of the planets and the development of human civilisation.
