SUNLIGHT , the first major survey of the work of Roger Ackling, is currently on show at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery. The exhibition includes some of the artist's earliest experiments with a lens, to his final works made in the last months of his life.

 

Alongside works on found driftwood, for which Ackling has become well known, the show features lesser-known pieces incorporating domestic wooden objects and tools, as well as works on card and paper that have not yet been exhibited in the UK.
