Future Library Trust, the body behind Katie Paterson's Future Library (2014-2114), will be co-hosting a two-day virtual and in-person symposium in partnership with Nasjonalmuseet and RiddoDuottarMuseut.
The symposium will take place the day after the Future Library Handover day and will feature presentations, workshops and panel discussions. The event will explore traditions of safeguarding and care, cultural preservation and knowledge transmission outside of and in resistance to Eurocentric frameworks, centering the voices and perspectives of those working and living in global, colonial and postcolonial contexts and cultural geographies.
