Co-curated by Robbie Bushe RSA and Flora La Thangue, the show explores the ways in which artists are pushing the boundaries of the medium of painting, featuring 31 artists currently practicising in Scotland.

RSA have also released an illustrated catalogue to coincide with the exhibition, featuring a foreword by La Thangue, an introduction by Bushe and works by each exhibiting artist with responses to the question: In a time when an artist can work in any media, why choose painting?
