Thomas Joshua Cooper's work is currently on show in a group exhibition at The University of Stirling's Pathfoot Crush Hall.
Hosted in collaboration with the Fleming-Wyfold Collection, the show focuses on pioneering Scottish artists who, as early as the 1970s and 80s, were responding to the threat of climate change.
Cooper's work is displayed alongside Frances Walker, James Morrison, Will MacLean, Glen Onwin and Elizabeth Ogilvie. Each are connected by a common instinct, driven by geography, to engage with the topography, ecology and wildernesses of the North, stretching from Scotland’s north-western coastland and archipelago to Canada’s High Arctic and the North Pole.
