A solo exhibition of works by the Antiguan artist, writer and polymath Frank Walter (1926-2009) is currently on view at David Zwirner's Paris location.
Organised in close collaboration with the art historian Barbara Paca and the Walter family, this is the first dedicated presentation of his work in Paris. The show features a selection of paintings, works on paper and ephemera related to the myriad manifestations of Walter's intellectual and artistic pursuits, alongside historical material from Walter's archive including photographs, notebooks, sketches, personal effects and correspondence.
A new essay Moon Voyage: Notes on Frank Walter, by Barbara Paca has also been published for the occasion of the exhibition, linked below.
