David Batchelor's Inter-Concreto 20 (2020) and Lubna Chowdhary's Sign 16 (2023) are currently on view in Juan March Foundation's group exhibition You have to see it - The Autonomy of Colour in Abstract Art.
The show presents a selection of 20th and 21st century artists for whom colour is an essential and structuring principle, featuring painting, sculpture and works on paper alongside textiles, ceramics, photography, installation and film.
